Empire Legal Reporting was founded in 2009 by Thomas Fallarino with a clear purpose: to build the kind of court reporting agency that South Florida’s top law firms had been asking for — one that combined elite service with genuine personal attention.
From a single office in Fort Lauderdale, Empire has grown into a nationally recognized legal support firm serving attorneys, corporations, and legal teams across all 50 states. Our headquarters in the 110 Tower places us directly across from the Broward County Courthouse.

Fallarino
Thomas Fallarino began his entrepreneurial journey at age 13, harvesting clams and selling them to restaurants near his hometown of Smithtown, New York. That early drive laid the foundation for what would become the Empire brand.
After gaining experience at a national court reporting firm, Thomas saw a need for a more client-focused approach. In the middle of the 2008 financial crisis — despite a non-compete clause and a baby on the way — he left a secure job, sold his home, and launched Empire Legal Reporting. The first office opened in 2009 in Boca Raton, Florida.
In 2014, Thomas expanded the brand with Empire Executive Offices, opening the flagship location at the 110 Tower. Today, Empire operates nationwide — continuing to provide high-quality support with a personal, relationship-driven approach.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dowling College, where he attended on a full baseball scholarship. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife and two children.
