Thomas Fallarino

Thomas Fallarino, founder and president of Empire Legal Reporting and Empire Executive Offices, began his entrepreneurial journey at age 13, harvesting clams and selling them to restaurants near his hometown of Smithtown, New York. That early drive laid the foundation for what would become the Empire brand.

After gaining experience at a national court reporting firm, Thomas saw a need for a more client-focused approach. In the middle of the 2008 financial crisis—despite a non-compete clause and a baby on the way—he left a secure job, sold his home, and launched Empire Legal Reporting. The first office opened in 2009 in Boca Raton, Florida.

From the start, the company’s mission was clear: put client needs first and build lasting relationships through service, reliability, and integrity. Empire quickly gained recognition for its professionalism and personal touch, becoming a trusted partner to many of Florida’s top law firms. Clients often describe Empire as an extension of their team, which is why referrals have driven much of the company’s growth.

In 2014, Thomas expanded the brand with Empire Executive Offices, opening the flagship location at the 110 Tower, directly across from the Broward County Courthouse. These premium office spaces offer unmatched convenience and comfort for legal professionals—adding value few competitors can match.

Today, Empire Legal Reporting operates nationwide, continuing to provide high-quality support with a personal, relationship-driven approach.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Dowling College, where he attended on a full baseball scholarship. He lives in Boca Raton with his wife and two children.
